The Your Chance Resource and Training Programme has been developed by the City of Sunderland YMCA Foyer to enhance the “chance” of young people successfully maintaining a tenancy and gaining a positive moving on experience.
As some of us know, moving out of the parental home can very daunting. In the experience of the City of Sunderland YMCA Foyer young people need a little extra support and guidance in order for them to gain and maintain a successful tenancy. The Your Chance Resource and Training Programme has been designed to give that useful insight in what moving into your own accommodation is going to hold and how to deal with certain issues that may arise.
There are 9 different units and we have designed modules to help you prepare to move onto your own accommodation.

Module One: Out Reach and Beyond
Module Two: Keeping a Roof Over Your Head
Module Three: How To Claim To Fame
Module Four: G.O.Y.A
Module Five: Search For Cribs
Module Six: Know Your Pad
Module Seven: Credit Crunching
Module Eight: Know Your Energy
Module Nine: Evolution and Evaluation
Each module will contain five units and each unit has a number of different sessions that can be run simultaneously or as an individual session.
